This paper seeks to examine the curricula of select counseling courses from a gender and mental health perspective. In the first part of the paper developments in gender and mental that have relevance for counseling curricula will be detailed. Also, mind body continuum and its significance for counseling will be spelt out in brief. In second part of the paper the curricula of two counseling courses will be analyzed. The last Section of the Paper will attempt to make some suggestions in order to design Counselling Curricula that take into consideration the linkages between physical and mental health on one hand and also incorporate the Gender and Mental Perspective on the other.Keywords
